Ramp sequences are present in various genes withn th SARS-CoV-2 genome. However, it depends on the specific infected tissue whether the ramp sequence is present.

Ramp Sequence Analyses
The percentage of SARS-CoV-2 genes that have a ramp sequence present in both tissues.
Ramp sequences are present in various genes withn th SARS-CoV-2 genome. However, it depends on the specific infected tissue whether the ramp sequence is present.
We searched for ramp sequences in 26 human genes that code for SARS-CoV-2 entry factors. Seven of these entry factors had ramp sequences within a variety of different tissues, potentially influencing tissue-specific susceptability to SARS-CoV-2 infection and proliferation.
Several of the human genes associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection (various factors part of the infection pathway) contain ramp sequences. Here we present the presence of those ramps across 62 tissues in thee human body.
